THE

KNIFE POCKET

Contributed by Doug Manning, Chantilly Virginia

For years I've heard guys say they "can't carry a knife bigger than 3 1/4 inches in their pocket because it's too big and makes an uncomfortable bulge".

Well, here's a fix for that. Sew a knife pocket into your pants pocket.  It keeps the knife standing up straight, so you can't see it and it doesn't get in the way.  I've put one of these in every pair of pants I own -- Yup; dress pants too.

Almost all pants pockets are shaped like the above.  If your right-handed, sew the knife pocket on the right side of your pants, (left-handed/left side) and keep your coins in the opposite pocket.  It's no fun trying to pull nickels out of this thing

Sew a line just a little shorter than your knife, so you can get hold of the top of the knife.

Don't make it a tight fit.

Your done, quick and easy, Thanks Doug
