All my life I I've been fascinated with knives since I was young. I made my first bowie knife from a file at age 12. I started making custom knives in the late 80's. Knife making seemed to be a natural extension for the experience I gained working in the tooling industry. I enjoy trying new things and my interests seem to lend themselves well to one of a kind art knives. Most of my knives have natural materials and extensive file work, with some engraving and scrimshaw. I like to inlay pearl and stones into the spines of my fancy folders.
