The 2017 Florida Knifemakers Assoc. Annual Show

The 2017 Florida Knifemakers how is December 16th & 17th, 2017 at Robarts Arena in beautiful Sarasota, Florida
Sarasota is a cultural hub, a great destination spot, and home to many knifemakers and enthusasts. It is sure to be a fantastic gathering of well known makers and collectors alike. RAFFLE KNIFE

The 2015 FKA Raffle Knife was a huge sucess. We raised almost $2,000. for the Shriners Hospital. The Damascus was forged, ground, etched,and polished by FKA President, John Davis. Finger guard, pommel, spacers and file work and fit-up by Ralph Turnbull. Master Engraver Roland J. Robidoux did the engraving. After engraving it was back to Jimmie Smith for scrimshaw and the presentation box. 100% of the proceeds went to the Shriners Hospitals for Children.

Fillet knives, skinners, Bowies, kitchen cutlery, lockback folders, art knives, collector quality inter-frame folders, swords, bird and trout, miniatures, Damascus, hunters, fighters, liner locks, tactical, mosaic damascus, scrimshaw, acid etching, camp knives, flint knives, and multi-blade pocket knives.

The Florida Knifemakers’ Association was founded in 1997, to promote and advance the craft, art, and science of knife making and to improve the overall quality, performance, and value of knives, edged tools, cutlery, and related products. The Association endeavors to assist its members with respect to technical and esthetic values, quality of work, and business ethics. It also works to educate the general public with respect to the fabricating processes and the skills involved in knife making. It also sponsors an annual custom knife show.

The annual Florida Knifemakers Association Custom Knife show will be held December 16th & 17th, 2017 at Robarts Arena in beautiful Sarasota, Florida.
